1. Introduction and general provisions
1.1. This Accessibility Statement (the “Statement”) describes the approach adopted by Stay Fit Software - FZCO, a legal entity duly incorporated under the laws of United Arab Emirates (the “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”), concerning the accessibility and inclusive use of the mobile application operating under the name Coach.ai (the “Application”). This Statement applies to the Application, its user interfaces, account registration and management functionality, exercise instructions, artificial intelligence-assisted fitness coaching features, camera-based movement analysis, saved workout history and associated digital services (collectively, the “Services”).
For the purposes of this Statement, “User”, “you” and “your” refer to any individual who downloads, registers for, accesses or uses the Application, including individuals with disabilities, temporary impairments or accessibility-related requirements.
1.2. The Company recognises that accessibility is an essential consideration in the design and provision of digital services. The Company seeks to develop and maintain the Application in a manner that facilitates access by individuals with diverse physical, sensory, cognitive and technological needs. This commitment extends, where reasonably practicable and technically feasible, to the design of interfaces, presentation of information, navigation, exercise instructions, account functionality and interaction with supported device accessibility features. The Company acknowledges that access to digital fitness services may present particular challenges for individuals with visual, hearing, mobility, dexterity or cognitive impairments. Accordingly, accessibility considerations shall form part of the Company's approach to the design, maintenance and development of the Services.
1.3. Digital accessibility and the physical suitability of an exercise are distinct considerations. A User's ability to access, navigate or understand the Application does not necessarily establish that a particular physical exercise is appropriate or safe for that individual. The Application provides general fitness assistance and is not intended to determine whether a person with a disability, injury or medical condition is medically fit to perform a particular exercise. Users should consult appropriately qualified healthcare professionals where individual medical or physical circumstances make such consultation advisable.
1.4. This Statement supplements the Company's Terms and Conditions of Use and End-User Licence Agreement, Privacy Policy, Camera and Live Video Processing Notice, and Health and Fitness Safety Disclaimer. Nothing in this Statement shall exclude, restrict or diminish mandatory rights arising under applicable consumer protection, accessibility, equality, disability rights or other relevant legislation.
2. Applicable accessibility framework
2.1. The Company shall assess and, to the extent applicable, comply with the accessibility requirements established under Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services, commonly referred to as the European Accessibility Act, together with relevant national implementing legislation. The applicability of particular requirements shall depend on the legal classification, functionality and commercial characteristics of the Services, as well as any statutory exemptions or transitional provisions.
The Company's voluntary accessibility commitments do not imply that every provision of the European Accessibility Act necessarily applies to every functionality of the Application.
2.2. In evaluating digital accessibility, the Company may refer to recognised technical standards and guidance, including the European standard EN 301 549 concerning accessibility requirements for information and communication technology products and services. The Company may also take account of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), including relevant Level AA success criteria, to the extent appropriate for mobile applications and their associated user interfaces. Reference to these standards expresses the Company's intended approach to accessibility assessment and improvement. It does not, in the absence of an appropriate assessment, constitute a declaration of certified or independently verified conformity.
2.3. The Company shall take into account relevant accessibility guidance and technical capabilities provided by Apple and Google in connection with their respective mobile operating systems. Such guidance may include considerations relating to screen readers, text scaling, contrast, accessible interface controls, navigation, touch interaction, reduced motion and alternative presentation of information.
2.4. The Company shall review accessibility requirements applicable to the Services in light of changes in legislation, regulatory guidance, technical standards and the functionality of the Application. Where mandatory accessibility requirements apply, the Company shall address those requirements in accordance with the relevant legal framework.
3. General accessibility principles
3.1. The Company seeks to present information and interface elements in a manner that enables Users with different sensory capabilities to perceive relevant content. This may involve appropriate text presentation, visual contrast, descriptive labels and alternatives to information conveyed exclusively through visual or auditory means.
3.2. The Company seeks to design the Application so that essential functionality can be operated through reasonably accessible interaction mechanisms. Accessibility considerations may include touch target dimensions, navigation consistency, compatibility with assistive technologies and avoidance of unnecessary interaction complexity.
3.3. The Company seeks to make instructions, controls, notifications and essential service information sufficiently clear and understandable for the intended audience. This includes the use of consistent terminology, predictable navigation and appropriate explanations of important functions.
3.4. The Company seeks to maintain reasonable compatibility with supported operating systems, devices and relevant assistive technologies. The extent of compatibility may depend on technical implementation, device specifications, operating-system versions and the functionality concerned.
3.5. The Company shall consider accessibility impacts when introducing new features or materially modifying existing functionalities. Where an accessibility limitation is identified, the Company shall assess its significance, potential remedies, technical feasibility and any applicable legal obligations.
4. Accessibility of the user interface
4.1. The Company seeks to develop user interfaces that allow Users to identify relevant controls, understand displayed information and complete common tasks without unnecessary complexity. Common tasks may include account registration, authentication, starting or ending workouts, accessing exercise instructions, reviewing saved workout history, modifying settings and requesting account deletion.
4.2. The Company shall consider consistent navigation patterns and predictable interface behaviour when designing the Application. Where reasonably practicable, similar functions should be presented consistently across relevant screens to reduce unnecessary cognitive and operational demands.
4.3. The Company seeks to support clear and legible presentation of textual information. Considerations may include appropriate font sizes, text spacing, visual hierarchy and responsiveness to supported device-level text scaling settings. The availability and effectiveness of particular text scaling features shall depend on the implemented interface and supported operating systems.
4.4. The Company shall consider visual contrast and the use of colour in presenting instructions, controls, warnings and training feedback. Important information should not, where reasonably practicable, be conveyed solely through colour without an additional distinguishable indicator.
4.5. The Company shall consider the accessibility of buttons, navigation controls, input fields and other interactive elements. Such considerations may include descriptive labels, reasonable touch target dimensions, distinguishable interaction states and compatibility with relevant accessibility services.
4.6. Where Users are required to provide information, the Company seeks to make relevant validation messages and error notifications understandable. Where reasonably practicable, Users should be able to identify incorrect or incomplete information and take appropriate corrective action.
5. Compatibility with assistive technologies
5.1. The Company recognises that Users may rely on assistive technologies or operating-system accessibility features to interact with mobile applications. The Company shall consider the compatibility of its interfaces with relevant assistive technologies during development and maintenance. The existence of this commitment does not constitute a representation that every third-party assistive technology or configuration has been tested or is fully supported.
5.2. Where technically supported, the Company seeks to facilitate meaningful interaction with operating-system screen readers, including Apple VoiceOver and Android TalkBack. Relevant considerations include accessible labels, logical navigation order, appropriate descriptions of interface controls and the communication of important interface states. Camera-based movement analysis may present additional accessibility challenges where the relevant functionality requires visual positioning or physical interaction.
5.3. Where supported by the relevant operating system and the Application's implementation, Users may be able to interact with certain interface elements through device-level voice control or related accessibility functionality. The Company does not represent that all Application functions can necessarily be operated exclusively through voice commands.
5.4. The Company may consider compatibility with accessibility-related input methods, including supported external keyboards, switch controls and other assistive input technologies. The availability of these capabilities shall depend on device compatibility and the design of the relevant functionality.
5.5. Users may be able to adjust relevant accessibility settings through their devices, including text size, visual display preferences, screen reader functionality and other supported accessibility controls. The Application shall not intentionally interfere with such settings except where a particular technical function requires a justified limitation.
6. Visual accessibility
6.1. The Company recognises that Users with visual impairments may encounter barriers when interacting with exercise demonstrations, camera-positioning instructions, movement indicators and visually presented feedback. The Company shall consider such barriers in the design and development of the Application.
6.2. Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, meaningful visual interface elements should be accompanied by accessible labels or other alternatives capable of communicating their essential purpose. Decorative visual elements may be treated differently where they do not convey essential information.
6.3. Where exercise instructions rely on images, animations or visual demonstrations, the Company may provide accompanying textual descriptions or other explanatory material where appropriate. The availability of alternative formats shall depend on the implemented functionality and applicable accessibility requirements.
6.4. Automated exercise feedback may be displayed through graphical indicators, numerical information, visual warnings or other interface elements. The Company shall consider whether material feedback can be conveyed in a manner accessible to Users who cannot reliably distinguish particular colours or visual indicators.
6.5. Camera-assisted exercise analysis may require the User to position the device so that relevant movements are visible. The Company acknowledges that visual positioning instructions may be difficult for Users with certain visual impairments and shall consider reasonably practicable improvements to the clarity and accessibility of such instructions.
7. Auditory accessibility
7.1. The Company recognises that Users who are deaf or hard of hearing may require exercise instructions and feedback to be accessible without relying exclusively on audio.
7.2. Where essential information is communicated through audio, the Company shall consider providing equivalent textual or visual information, subject to applicable requirements and technical feasibility.
7.3. Where the Application includes spoken exercise instructions or audible feedback, the Company shall consider alternative mechanisms that allow Users to access relevant instructions without requiring auditory perception.
7.4. Important alerts should, where practicable and appropriate, be communicated through more than one sensory channel. The Company shall consider the accessibility of safety-related information when designing notification mechanisms.
7.5. Where the Application provides prerecorded instructional videos containing speech or other essential audio information, the Company shall assess applicable requirements concerning captions, transcripts and equivalent accessible alternatives. The availability of such features shall be accurately described and shall not be represented as universal unless verified.
8. Motor and physical accessibility
8.1. The Company recognises that Users with limited dexterity, reduced mobility or other motor impairments may encounter difficulties interacting with touch-based controls or performing particular exercises. Accessibility considerations may include the location and size of controls, the complexity of gestures and the physical demands associated with particular interactions.
8.2. The Company shall consider the need for appropriately sized and spaced interactive controls. Where reasonably practicable, essential actions should not depend exclusively on unnecessarily complex gestures.
8.3. Not all physical exercises are suitable for all Users. The Application's exercise library and automated monitoring functionality may include activities requiring particular movement ranges, levels of balance, strength or coordination. The Company does not represent that every exercise is suitable for persons with all forms of physical disability or mobility limitation.
8.4. Where the Application supports exercise alternatives or modifications, such functionality may assist Users in selecting activities better suited to their individual physical capabilities. The availability of such functionality does not constitute a medical recommendation or individual clinical assessment.
8.5. Automated movement analysis may be less accurate where a User's movement patterns differ substantially from the patterns recognised by the underlying software. This may include circumstances involving mobility limitations, assistive equipment, anatomical differences or modified exercise execution. The Company shall consider these limitations when evaluating the effectiveness and inclusiveness of its movement-analysis functionality.
8.6. Users should not undertake movements that cause pain, instability or excessive physical strain for the purpose of obtaining a favourable automated assessment. The Company's Health and Fitness Safety Disclaimer provides additional information concerning the risks of physical exercise and the limitations of AI-generated feedback.
9. Cognitive and neurodiversity accessibility
9.1. The Company recognises that Users may have different cognitive, learning, attention, memory or information-processing needs. The Company seeks to consider these differences when developing the structure and presentation of the Application.
9.2. Exercise instructions, account-related notices and essential interface information should be presented in a manner that avoids unnecessary ambiguity or complexity. Where appropriate, instructions may be divided into understandable steps or accompanied by clear explanatory information.
9.3. The Company shall consider consistency in navigation, terminology, interface behaviour and the presentation of important actions.
9.4. The Company shall consider the potential effect of excessive visual, auditory or informational complexity on Users' ability to understand and operate the Application.
9.5. Where the Application includes time-sensitive interactions, the Company shall assess whether such timing is necessary and whether reasonable accommodations or alternatives can be provided. Real-time movement analysis may inherently depend on the timing and sequence of physical exercises, and not all timing-related requirements can necessarily be removed without affecting the relevant functionality.
10. Camera-based fitness coaching and accessibility limitations
10.1. The Application uses artificial intelligence and computer vision technologies to analyse physical movements and generate exercise-related feedback. All underlying camera footage is processed locally on the User's device and is not transmitted to Company servers or external artificial intelligence providers.
10.2. Certain camera-assisted features require that relevant body movements remain sufficiently visible to the device camera. This technical requirement may affect Users who cannot position themselves or their devices in the manner expected by the Application.
10.3. Automated movement analysis may produce incomplete or inaccurate assessments where physical movements differ from the patterns recognised by the software. Users with disabilities, reduced mobility, anatomical variations or other physical characteristics may encounter limitations in particular exercise-monitoring features.
10.4. Where the Application supports features that do not depend on live camera analysis, such features may remain accessible without granting camera permission. The Company shall consider opportunities to reduce unnecessary dependence on camera input where technically feasible and consistent with the purpose of the relevant functionality. This provision does not constitute a representation that every camera-assisted function currently has an equivalent non-camera alternative.
10.5. The Company recognises that accessibility improvements must be considered alongside physical safety. An alternative interaction method or exercise modification should not be represented as suitable for a User where its safety has not been appropriately established.
10.6. The Application does not independently determine whether a User's disability, injury, medical condition or mobility limitation makes a particular exercise safe. Users should seek appropriately qualified professional guidance where necessary.
11. Account registration and workout history
11.1. The Company shall consider accessibility requirements when designing account registration, authentication, account management and deletion functionality.
11.2. Where appropriate and technically feasible, authentication procedures should accommodate relevant accessibility needs and avoid unnecessary barriers. The Company shall consider the accessibility implications of password entry, verification procedures and error recovery mechanisms.
11.3. The Application allows Users to save exercise-related information and review previous training activities. The Company shall consider the accessibility of workout history presentation, including the readability of exercise results and the clarity of relevant navigation controls.
11.4. Users may exercise applicable personal data protection rights through the mechanisms described in the Privacy Policy. The Company shall consider accessibility when providing information about such rights and when responding to requests for assistance.
11.5. The Application supports account deletion requests through its relevant in-app functionality and designated external deletion webpage. The Company shall consider the accessibility of these processes and shall not intentionally create unnecessary barriers to the exercise of statutory rights.
12. Accessibility of legal and support information
12.1. The Company seeks to make its Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, Camera and Live Video Processing Notice, and Health and Fitness Safety Disclaimer available through reasonably accessible digital formats.
12.2. Legal information shall be organised in a manner that enables Users to locate relevant provisions and understand material rights and obligations. The Company shall consider the use of descriptive headings, logical document structure and readable text presentation.
12.3. Users may contact the Company to report accessibility issues or request clarification concerning Application functionality. Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, the Company shall consider alternative means of communication to accommodate accessibility-related needs.
12.4. Information disclosed by a User when requesting accessibility assistance shall be processed in accordance with the Company's Privacy Policy. Users are not required to disclose a medical diagnosis merely to report a technical accessibility barrier, unless specific information is genuinely necessary for a lawful and identified purpose.
