1. Introduction and general provisions
1.1. This AI Transparency and Responsible Use Policy (the “Policy”) describes the use, operation, limitations and responsible deployment of artificial intelligence technologies within Coach.ai (the “Application”), developed and operated by Stay Fit Software - FZCO, registered under the laws of United Arab Emirates (the “Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
This Policy supplements the Company's Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Camera and Live Video Processing Notice, and Health and Fitness Safety Disclaimer.
1.2. The Company is committed to providing transparent, responsible and human-centred AI-assisted fitness services, taking into account applicable European Union legislation, including Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the “EU AI Act”).
2. Use of artificial intelligence
2.1. The Application uses artificial intelligence, computer vision and automated movement analysis to identify supported exercises, assess certain aspects of posture, count repetitions and generate real-time fitness coaching feedback. Users are informed that such assessments and recommendations are generated automatically rather than through continuous supervision by a human fitness professional.
2.2. All camera-based AI processing is performed locally on the User's device. Camera footage is not transmitted to Company servers or external AI providers, permanently recorded or retained. Users may separately save non-video exercise metrics and workout history to their registered accounts, subject to the Privacy Policy.
2.3. The Application is not intended to identify or authenticate individuals using facial recognition or biometric identity matching. Movement analysis is performed exclusively for exercise-related purposes.
3. Transparency and accuracy
3.1. AI-generated instructions, observations and assessments may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for particular Users. Their reliability may depend on camera positioning, lighting, device capabilities, movement complexity and other technical circumstances.
3.2. The Company does not guarantee that the Application will identify every incorrect movement, unsafe exercise technique or potential injury risk. The absence of an automated warning shall not be interpreted as confirmation that an exercise is being performed correctly or safely.
3.3. The Company shall clearly identify the automated nature of relevant coaching functionalities and provide disclosures required under applicable AI transparency legislation.
4. Responsible use and user safety
4.1. Users should exercise reasonable independent judgment when interpreting AI-generated guidance and must not follow instructions that appear unsafe or exceed their physical capabilities.
4.2. The Application is intended for general fitness and wellness purposes and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation or professional healthcare supervision. Users with relevant medical conditions, injuries or concerns about exercise suitability should seek appropriate professional advice.
4.3. Users should discontinue exercise if they experience pain, dizziness, unusual breathlessness or other concerning symptoms and seek medical assistance where necessary. The Application must not be relied upon as an emergency detection or medical monitoring system.
5. Responsible AI development
5.1. The Company shall assess reasonably foreseeable risks arising from its AI functionalities, including inaccurate movement recognition, inappropriate recommendations, accessibility limitations and potential adverse effects on User safety.
5.2. The Company seeks to identify and mitigate unjustified differences in AI performance associated with physical characteristics, mobility limitations or other relevant individual differences. The Company does not represent that automated movement recognition will perform identically for every User.
5.3. The Company shall maintain appropriate privacy and security safeguards and shall not use User workout video footage for unrelated AI model training, advertising profiling or commercial data exploitation.
5.4. The Company may review and improve its AI functionality, assess reported errors and implement appropriate corrective measures, without compromising the data processing commitments described in its Privacy Policy.
6. Legal compliance and liability
6.1. The Company shall comply with applicable requirements under the EU AI Act, GDPR and relevant European Union consumer protection and product safety legislation, taking into account the actual functionality and legal classification of the Application.
6.2. AI-generated feedback is intended to supplement, rather than replace, appropriate personal judgment and professional assistance. Nothing in this Policy excludes or restricts liability for negligence, defective products, personal injury or other matters to the extent such liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
6.3. Users retain all mandatory rights under applicable consumer protection, product liability, data protection and other relevant legislation.
7. Contact information
7.1 Questions or concerns regarding the Application's artificial intelligence functionalities may be directed to: hello@coach.ai.
8. Final provisions
The Company may update this Policy to reflect changes in AI functionality, applicable legislation or regulatory guidance. Material changes affecting Users shall be communicated where required by law.
This Policy shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without prejudice to mandatory protections applicable to consumers in other jurisdictions.
